IC3-GS6 Digital Literacy Certification Series

IC3-GS6-LEVEL ONE Course and Exam

A 9-week series of in-person classes for the IC3-GS6 Level One Certification Online Registration Required: Wednesday, February 19 – Wednesday, February 26, 2025 Maximum number of participants: 16

If you need to learn and earn the Internet Core Competency Certification (IC3) on GS6-Level One, the DC Public Library is pleased to offer a 9-week series of FREE in-person classes and the FREE opportunity to take the IC3-GS6-Level One Certification Exam at the end of the 9-week series.

The 9-week series of in-person classes:

• Will be conducted twice a week for 3-hours on Wednesdays and Fridays, 10:30am – 1:30pm, from March 19 – May 14, 2025.
• Will present a curriculum of these seven skill groups: technology basics, digital citizenship, information management, content creation, communication, collaboration, and safety and security
• Will include two opportunities to take the official IC3-GS6 Level One Certification Exam

Attending the 9-week series of in-person classes is required to take the IC3-GS6-Level One Certification Exam.

• You will receive an initial confirmation email from Constant Contact, acknowledging your registration.
• You will receive a follow-up email with the following instructions:
• The day and time of the required in-person Orientation session.
• A choice of one of two dates on which to take your pre-screening assessment, if you answered “No” to Question #3 in the registration form.
