Local directors showcase their spine-chilling 5-minute horror flicks created during the 5th cohort of DC Public Library's filmmaking workshop series.

From an unexpected alien invasion, a surveillance gig gone awry, the evils of AI, genetic tampering and techno-obsession, these original dystopian shorts created by local filmmakers participating in our Spring 2026 library filmmaking workshop will terrify, astound and entertain.

Please note this event will take place off site at St. Mark's of Capitol Hill.  301 A St SE, Washington, DC 20003. Guests are encouraged to bring their own snacks and non-alcoholic refreshments.
