Kevin Kline plays a straitlaced teacher whose life is upended when a former student publicly labels him as gay, prompting him to confront his sexuality while dealing with a gay reporter (Tom Selleck) and his concerned fiancée (Joan Cusack, in an Oscar-nominated performance.) Also starring Matt Dillon, Debbie Reynolds & Bob Newhart.
In June, we are screening LGBTQ+ films from the 90's, followed by a discussion that asks the question: “Does it still hold up?”
