If you need to get certified in Professional Communications, the DC Public Library is pleased to offer Certiport’s Compass Cloud Remote Certification Service. This remote testing solution allows you to take the Professional Communications Certification Exam as part of the Critical Career Skills series from the convenience of your home or office computer, and it is FREE.

In this Exam, you will be tested in the following areas:

• Identify Professional Communication Skills
• Identify Effective Verbal, Nonverbal, and Listening Skills
• Analyze the Effect of the Audience on a Message
• Analyze the Effect of the Environment on a Message
• And much more!

With an established Certiport account, a computer running Windows 10 or 11, an updated Chrome browser, and an Internet speed of 10 Mbps, you can earn this industry-recognized certification from your home or office computer and distinguish yourself as a competent candidate for employment and a skilled employee in the workplace.

After you register:

• You will receive an initial confirmation email, acknowledging your registration. 
• The confirmation email will be followed by an instructional email on what you can expect in Certiport’s Compass Cloud Remote virtual testing environment.
• The day before your scheduled MOS Exam, you will receive an email with your link to access Certiport’s Virtual Machines to take your Exam.
