Everyone loves the Sunday Movie Matinee, it's a chance for folks to relax, enjoy a movie together and participate in a brief post film discussion.
On Sunday, October 18th, Woodridge Library invites patrons and community to enjoy the movie "Tortilla Soup" in recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month (we know HHM officially ends on October 15th but we're still celebrating). Tortilla Soup is a comedy-drama about a retired master chef in Los Angeles who hosts elaborate Sunday dinners for his three adult daughters. As family secrets and romantic surprises unfold at the dinner table, everyone learns to navigate changing traditions and new beginnings. Run time: 1 hr. 42 minutes and is rated PG-13. The fun begins at 2pm with the movie, a light snack and a brief post film discussion.
