October we are showing horror flicks to get in the Halloween spirit.
October 3: Good Boy- A dog moves to a new home with his owner and discovers supernatural forces lurking in the shadows. As dark entities threaten his human companion, the brave pup must fight to protect him.
October 10: Together- Longtime couple Tim and Millie (Dave Franco and Alison Brie) find themselves at a crossroads as they move to the country, abandoning everything except each other. While tensions begin to flair, an encounter with a nightmarish and unnatural force threatens to corrupt their lives, their love and their flesh.
October 17: Late Night With the Devil -Johnny Carson rival Jack Delroy hosts the syndicated talk show ‘Night Owls’ that has long been a trusted companion to insomniacs around the country. However, ratings for the show have plummeted since the tragic death of Jack's beloved wife. Desperate to turn his fortunes around, on October 31st, 1977, Jack plans a Halloween special like no other- unaware he is about to unleash evil into the living rooms of America.
October 24: Nanny- A Senegalese immigrant who takes a job as a nanny for a wealthy white family in New York City. Separated from her son and casually exploited by her employers, Aisha finds herself consumed by unsettling visions and a growing rage one that could either destroy or empower her.
October 31: Horror Noire (2021): A horror anthology film released on Shudder that features six distinct tales written, directed, and starred in by Black creatives.
