Kick off Discover Summer in Style at the Lamond Riggs Library
You’re invited to Discover Summer with DC Public Library. Discover Summer is an all-ages city-wide celebration of reading and learning. Everything you need to Discover Summer can be found at your neighborhood library.
This summer, as our city celebrates America 250, DC Public Library invites readers to dream about what America can become over the next 250 years, imagining a future where every life is valued, liberty thrives, and happiness is a shared possibility for all!
Join the Lamond Riggs Neighborhood library for an all ages community celebration to kick off a summer of reading and learning.
Families can enjoy a family story time at 4:30 followed by patio crafts at 5:30.
Teens can let their artistic spirit free with Words, Beats, Life Street Artists at 4:30 and teen sip and paint at 6:30.
Everyone is invited to jam out to the sweet music of the Lovejoygroup, a vibrant ensemble blending Jazz, Blues, and Latin rhythms as part of our popular Main Street Jazz series starting at 6pm.
