Explore Archeology around Washington DC with Archeology in the Community
Explore archaeology through games, puzzles, crafts, and teamwork! Young Archaeologists' Club is a free, hands-on educational opportunity instructed by professional archaeologists and educators. Locations, topics, dates, and times vary from May to August, 2026. Activities are designed for ages 8-14. Younger students may attend when accompanied by an adult. Registration for all participants is required. Archaeology in the Community is a DC nonprofit dedicated to connecting all learners to heritage and archaeological science. Get ready for the World Cup by exploring ancient games and sports. Learn to play board games from ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia and Cuju, an ancient Chinese sport that later became soccer.
