The History of the Postcard in the US
You may think of a postcard today as a collectable souvenir, tangible keepsake, or creative correspondence through the mail. The postcard has evolved over time but continues to be an open method of communication that connects people from all over the world.
Join us for a special presentation on the history of postcards in the United States from our partners at the National Postal Museum.
Following the presentation, participants can design their own postcard.
If you would like to request an accommodation, please contact dcplaccess@dc.gov at least 1 week prior to the program.
