In 1931 Berlin, as Nazism rises, American Sally Bowles (Liza Minnelli) performs in a nightclub and falls in love with a British teacher Brian (Michael York), sharing him with a German baron. Sally's vibrant cabaret life faces destruction as the Nazis tighten their grip. Also starring Joel Grey as the emcee. Directed by Bob Fosse and adapted from the stage musical of the same name. Also based upon Christopher Isherwood's The Berlin Stories.
