A Little Bit About Everything You Need to Know to Play Dungeons and Dragons!
A series of information sessions and workshops for kids (8+), teens, and adults introducing the history, basics of play, building characters, and more!
Dungeons and Dragons is a Table Top Role Playing Game where players play characters, using improv, math, strategy, and negotiation skills to accomplish a goal.
Session 1 (June 20): History and Introduction to the Game (How was D&D developed, what is D&D, etc.)
Session 2 (July 18): Basics of Play (What does Initiative mean? Which dice is this? What dice do I roll? What do I add?)
Session 3 (August 1): Character Development (Can I play a bardbarian who has been disowned by their tribe and was left by their troupe? Can I play Legolas? I want to play a Dragonborn Monk.)
