In this 4-part Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence course, we'll review tools, use cases, limitations, ethics, and practical skills to use it effectively.
Join Computer CORE for this 4-part Fundamentals of AI series, building in new content over each week to build practical hands-on skills.
These sessions will be conducted in the computer lab- no need to bring your own computer, but seating is limited- register here to secure your spot.
Pre-requisites: an active email account (preferably gmail) and basic computer and internet search skills including typing, navigating with a mouse, opening files, browsers, and tabs.
Week 1 — What Is AI: landscape, history, categories, myths
Week 2 — Tools & Use Cases: prompt engineering, job readiness applications
Week 3 — Limitations, Ethics & Responsible Use: hallucinations, bias, policy
Week 4 — Putting It All Together: AI-enhanced workflows, toolkit and learning plan
