Join DC's Office of the Chief Technology Officer the Mayor's Office of Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing for a Smart Phone 101 class.
The District of Columbia is hosting a free technology class tailored for Deaf and Hard of Hearing seniors. This initiative aimed to bridge the digital divide by equipping participants with essential tech skills, thereby enhancing their ability to connect with family and friends. The class also sought to empower attendees to navigate the digital world more confidently, fostering greater independence and engagement with the broader community. For this session, we'll review the basics of using a smart phone.
This session will be held in the 2nd floor Adult Learning Department. Space is limited for this session, all are welcome but priority seating will be given to seniors who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
Sign language interpretation will be provided.
