The ultimate day party is at the MLK Library for a World Pride celebration that’s all about Latinx flavor and LGBTQ+ pride!
El Zol’s DJ Xplosive will be on deck bringing the heat with Latin beats, and our friends at the Sâfica Social Club will be onsite to provide Bachata lessons and guest performances that will light up our Rooftop Garden. It’s an afternoon to celebrate culture, community, and unapologetic self-expression.
The Sâfica Social Club will provide “Hips Don’t Lie” lessons on bachata dance moves that’s fun and inclusive for all.
Whether you're dancing, vibing with friends, or just soaking in the energy, this is your space to feel seen, celebrated, and connected.

Sâfica Social Club is a vibrant, queer latiné-centered space that celebrates culture, dance and community. Initially known as Bachata Sáfica, the organization is rebranding to reflect its expanding vision of inclusivity, empowerment, and social connection through latin music and performance.
Their mission is to create spaces where queer, trans, nonbinary, and gender-nonconforming individuals can come together and celebrate their identities while engaging with latin culture.
