A visible mending workshop for well-loved items from your closet. We’ll supply needles and thread but, please, bring any specific materials you may need, such as patches or zippers.
In partnership with DOEE’s ReThread DC, we are hosting a visible mending workshop. Bring any well-loved items from your closet that need attention, and we’ll supply essentials like needles and thread to help you give them new life. Experienced menders will be available to guide you and teach new techniques. Please bring any specific materials you may need, such as patches or zippers. We’ll start with a brief mending demonstration, followed by a round table workshop designed to bring our community together in the fight against fast fashion.
