On October 14, Empower DC invites you to join us for our first Barry Farm/Hillsdale History Open Mic.
Join us at the Anacostia Neighborhood Library for our first community history open mic.
You've heard us tell the story of Barry Farm but now we want to hear from you. You're invited to join us in the Ora Glover room at the Anacostia Library to share with us an artifact, photo, or item or just bring a story that connects you and that item to Barry Farm. This is an opportunity for us to reconnect as neighbors and to share our own rich connections to more than a 150 years of history on the land that is Barry Farm/Hillsdale.
Bring an artifact, a story, or just come and listen to your neighbors talk about their connection to our city.
