Find Your Story will be a day of workshops, author talks, and connection focused on DC’s writing community.
Join us at Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Library on Saturday, June 24, from 10am-4pm for Find Your Story: Writing with Love. Find Your Story will be a day of workshops, tabling and connection focused on DC’s writing community, and this year the theme is love. Find Your Story: Writing with Love will be held on the 4th and 5th floors.
In addition to the workshops and other activities, this year Find Your Story's signature presentation will be a performance by DC's own Mosaic Theater as they present their play focused on the H St. Oral History Project. Based on interviews with residents of DC's H Street neighborhood, Mosaic's playwright in residence Psalmayene 24 will lead a conversation and performance with actors and writers about this very special project from one of DC's leading theaters.
Registration for Find Your Story is recommended, but not required. Join us for what promises to be a great day of writing and community building!
