Tax preparation services will be provided for DC and MD residents at the Anacostia Neighborhood Library. By appointment only.
To make an appointment before tax season, come to the Anacostia Library between 10:30am and 1:30pm on Tuesday January 30, 2025 or Wednesday January 31, 2025. At that time, you will get a taxpayer information packet (TIP) that contains the intake and interview form to be filled out, as well as a list of documents needed to prepare returns. Be sure to bring all TY2024 tax documents and completed intake forms to your appointment.
During tax season, patrons can come during regular hours (Tuesdays and Wednesdays. 10:00am- 4:00pm) to make an appointment.
