Come join this class where drawing and/paint and develop a greater understanding of form, structure, and gesture.
Exploring how to render subjects accurately while using various points of reference, each class will be filled with essential drawing and painting techniques. The course consists of assignments, demonstrations, and critiques followed by weekly homework. Bring a 9 x 12″ sketchbook, and any other supplies you'd like. All registrants are welcome to use any classroom supplies made available by the instructor.
Around Town DC is funded by the DC Department of Aging and Community Living (DACL) for older adults (60+) who live in DC, and is run by Iona Senior Services. To register, please log-in or create an account on the Around Town DC website then register for any in-person or virtual fitness, arts, or other programs of interest.
