Celebrate children and connect them to the world of learning through books, stories and libraries.
El día de los niños/El diía de los libros (Children's Day/Book Day), commonly known as Día, is a celebration every day of children, families, and reading that culminates yearly on April 30. Enjoy themed scavenger hunts and bingo! Be sure to dress up as your favorite book character, as well, for the chance to win our costume contest!
Be sure to grab a bilingual book in English, Spanish, Mandarin, or French, made possible by the generous contributions of the Friends of the Cleveland Park Library.
This program is best for ages 3-12. If you would like to request an accommodation, please contact dcplaccess@dc.gov at least one week prior to the event.
