Join us for a discussion with Aaron Rowe, the DC Arborist who looks out for the street trees and park trees in Cleveland Park and Woodley Park.
Did you know that every neighborhood in the District has a city Arborist who manages its public trees?
Join us for a discussion with Aaron Rowe, the DC Arborist who looks out for the street trees and park trees in Cleveland Park and Woodley Park.
Aaron will give an overview of what DC's Urban Forestry Division does in the District and then join Stella Tarnay, executive director of Capital Nature, for a discussion of his work as a public arborist in our neighborhood. There will be time for questions and to hear how we can all keep our local street trees healthy.
This is the first in a three-part series on trees and their care hosted by Cleveland Park Library in collaboration with Capital Nature. The second event is An Evening with Casey Trees on May 13. The third event is an author talk with Mike Tidwell on June 30.
Registration is optional.
If you would like to request an accommodation, please contact dcplaccess@dc.gov at least one week prior to the program.
