Join us at the Benning/Dorothy I. Height Neighborhood Library as we celebrate National Library Week and this year’s theme, “Find Your Joy.”
National Library Week is a nationwide celebration that highlights the essential role libraries and library professionals play in transforming lives and strengthening our communities. This week, we’re inviting our community to slow down, get creative, and find a little joy together.
Throughout the week, customers of all ages are invited to contribute to our Giant Positive Affirmations Coloring Poster. Add your color, your creativity, and your energy to a collaborative artwork filled with uplifting messages and affirmations.
When completed, the finished poster will be proudly displayed in the branch as a reminder that joy lives here — in our stories, in our creativity, and in each other.
