The 2024 movie Wicked is the first part of a two-part adaptation of the hit Broadway musical, telling the untold story of the witches of Oz, focusing on the unlikely friendship between green-skinned, misunderstood Elphaba (future Wicked Witch of the West) and popular, blonde Galinda (future Glinda the Good) at Shiz University, exploring themes of prejudice, power, identity, and destiny before Dorothy arrives.
