A Monthly Book Club Discussing New Science Fiction Literature
Science and speculative fiction began as a genre of experimentation, where authors used the genre as a sandbox to play with imagined realities of what our world could be. Our club reads stories that keep the spark of this imagination, and use it to challenge how we think about the world today.
Meetings are In-Person at the Takoma Park Neighborhood Library in the downstairs meeting room. We meet every third Thursday of the month through the end of 2025 from 6:30pm to 7:45pm.
All materials are available through the DCPL Catalog in a variety of formats.
