This workshop is for those who are interested in safety online and want to protect themselves from fraudsters and scams.
This workshop will build participants’ confidence when visiting websites, creating passwords, and responding to email.
At the end of the session, participants will be able to:
· Identify a secure website (i.e. a website that’s safe to create an account on).
· Identify tips to create a strong password that is easy to remember.
· Identify key factors in an email messages that indicate a scam.
· Learn tips and tricks of how to remain a safe user online.

Seats are limited to 16 participants and will be filled on a first-come, first-served walk-in basis. Please arrive a half-hour early to sign in for a seat at one of the 16 workstations. No entry 20 minutes after class starts.
