At the Edge of Empire: A Family's Reckoning with China is an epic story of modern China that weaves a riveting family memoir with vital reporting by the New York Times diplomatic correspondent Edward Wong.
Come to the library for a reading from the book by the author Edward Wong. Short Q+A and book-signing to follow. Limited free copies available for attendees courtesy of the Mt. Pleasant Friends of the Library with additional books available for sale through Lost City Bookstore.
