A writing workshop for Find Your Story.
Join queer romance author Timothy Janovsky in a workshop that explores what it takes to queer beloved tropes. Through preliminary character development, participants will have the chance to learn about the tried-and-true story beats that make up a romance novel, and explore in-depth what it means to craft the quintessential meet-cute. Writers will walk away with the early seeds of their very own romantic fiction story. There will be time at the end for craft- and industry- related questions.
This workshop is part of the Library's day of writing Find Your Story: Writing With Love.
