A sneak preview of Mosaic's H Street Oral History Project
Join us for a special look inside the process of community-based playmaking, where Mosaic Theater Playwright-in-Residence Psalmayene 24 will facilitate a keynote discussion with the project's three commissioned playwrights (Dane Figueroa Edidi, JJ Johnson, and Gethsemane Herron-Coward) focused on the process of crafting plays that draw directly from real-time interviews with past and current H Street Corridor residents. The writers will then share for the first time excerpts of their drafts in progress as performed by an ensemble of local professional actors.
This workshop is a part of the Library's day of writing Find Your Story: Writing With Love.
This workshop will take place in the MLK Library Auditorium on the 5th Floor.
