A workshop on how to read and write love poems, part of the Find Your Story: Writing With Love writers' festival.
Join workshop leader, Michele L. Simms-Burton, a winner of the Moving Words Competition 2021, to read and write poems for the Find Your Story: Writing With Love writers' festival.
Participants will read some love and anti-love poems and try their hands at composing Skinny, sonnet, villanelle, and blues poems that examine and express each writer’s understanding of and engagement with the concept of love.
The session will occur at the Martin Luther King, Jr., Memorial Library on Saturday, June 24, at 11 a.m. in the Conference Center on the 4th Floor.
