The DC Office of the Tenant Advocate will provide tenants with resources to help them understand their rights in the District.
The DC Office of the Tenant Advocate (OTA) will table at Shaw (Watha T. Daniel) Neighborhood Library and provide tenants with resources and materials to help them understand their rights in the District, including information on rent control, tenant associations, rent increases, TOPA, and the Tenant Bill of Rights.
Drop in any time between 10am-2pm with any tenants rights questions or issues you have and get answers from OTA staff.
This program is part of 'Our City, Our Stories', a series that features informative programs about local government and governance and educates residents on how they can be involved in the process, while also presenting cultural programs featuring authors, artists, and subject matter experts from Washington, DC.
