IC3-GS6-LEVEL ONE Course and Exam

A 9-week series of in-person classes for the Internet Core Competency Certifications (IC3). Online Registration Required: Tues February 10 – Mon February 16, 2026 Maximum number of participants: 16

If you need to learn and earn the Internet Core Competency Certification (IC3) on Global Standard (GS) 6-Level One, the DC Public Library is pleased to offer a 9-week series of FREE in-person classes and the FREE opportunity to take the IC3-GS6-Level One Certification Exam at the end of a 9-week series of classes.

The 9-week series of in-person classes:

• Will be conducted twice a week for 3-hours on Wednesdays and Fridays, 10:30am – 1:30pm, from March 4 – April 24, 2026.
• Will present a curriculum of these seven skill groups: technology basics, digital citizenship, information management, content creation, communication, collaboration, and safety and security
• Will include two opportunities to take the official IC3-GS6 Level One Certification Exam
• Attending the 9-week series of in-person classes is required to take the IC3-GS6-Level One Certification Exam.
