Join us for a panel discussion about historic preservation in the District of Columbia and the modernization of the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library.
2022 marks the DC Preservation League's 50th anniversary, and 50 years since the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library was first opened to the public. To celebrate these milestones, join us for a panel discussion looking back at 50 years of historic preservation in the District of Columbia, and the efforts that shaped the journey of this Mies van der Rohe-designed building from its listing as one of Washington, D.C.'s Most Endangered Places to a state-of-the-art central library worthy of our world-class city.
