Join us for an opening reception to celebrate the exhibit Art: A View, presented in collaboration wth the Lorton Art Program,
Art: A View, is an exhibition produced by Lorton Art Program, which consists of 31 works of art. The Lorton Art Program is an award-winning non-profit organization founded in 1975 to provide a creative outlet for incarcerated residents of the D.C. Department of Corrections, at their facilities in Lorton, VA and D.C. Led by Mia Choumenkovitch, the program facilitates education and training in the fine arts to thousands of men and women primarily residing in D.C. Department of Corrections facilities.
This exhibit was created in collaboration with the Lorton Art Program through the DC Public Library Art & Exhibits Open Call.
