This PBS documentary features beloved Cuban singer, Omara, who at 94 years young, continues to sing for audiences around the world and has no plans of stopping any time soon.
Latin Grammy Award winning singer Omara Portuondo, primarily known for her rendition of boleros, has recorded in a wide range of styles from jazz to son cubano. She was part of the original Buena Vista Social Club Project and toured extensively and recorded several albums with the ensemble. She is an ever-popular fixture in Cuba and regularly appears at clubs and cafes around Havana. Woodridge audiences and music lovers will love and appreciate this documentary.
