D.C. Open Government Coalition will offer information and tips on how you can obtain all kinds of information from our city’s government.
Have questions about how to get information from the D.C. government, D.C. Public Schools and the Metropolitan Police Department?
Join the D.C. Open Government Coalition at Martin Luther King Jr., Memorial Library on Monday, May 12, at 6:30pm for Digging into DC Informational Session. This is a general session where you will learn how you can obtain all kinds of information from the D.C. government.
The session will be in the Auditorium located on the 5th floor. and is free and open to the public. Come with any questions you may have. Registration is encouraged but not required.
The D.C. Open Government Coalition, a group of volunteer watchdogs, aims to help the D.C. Government become more transparent and accessible so that residents can better understand how decisions are made and what information is used to make those decisions.
This program is a part of Our City, Our Stories, a series that features informative programs about local government and governance and educate residents on how they can be involved in the process, while also presenting cultural programs featuring authors, artists, and subject matter experts from Washington, DC.
