Using Hip-Hop to tell a story
The duo of Ashlee McKinnon and Avril Hernandez uses choreography, freestyle, and student interaction to bring the elements of hip-hop dance to life that tells a story and moves to music.
Ashlee McKinnon remains active in the field of dance as a performer and choreographer. As a modern dancer, she has been a company member of VF Dance Theater in Germantown, MD since 2012, and a guest performer with Deep Vision Dance Theater in Baltimore.
