An interactive bilingual ASL and English dramatic performance about self-acceptance for families with young children.
Visionaries of the Creative Arts (VOCA) brings to life this story by Patricia Lee Davis, about Michelle, a young African-American girl struggling to accept her natural beauty and learning to embrace herself. Children will be able to participate in this interactive drama. The program is in ASL and English voice interpretation will be provided.
Join us for this special preview of this month’s installment of The National Theatre’s acclaimed Saturday Morning Live! series, especially for families with children ages 3-6! VOCA is a nonprofit organization that provides space for BIPOC Deaf & Hard of Hearing Artists to create, collaborate, & showcase their work.
