Join us as we celebrate a decade of nurturing young readers across the District.
Books from Birth, D.C.’s free early‑literacy program that delivers a book each month to every child from birth to age five, is turning ten, and we’re marking the milestone with a joyful, book‑filled celebration for children and families.
This special anniversary event will feature:
Families from across D.C. are warmly welcomed to join us on Feb. 28 at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library for a morning of imagination, creativity, and community. Whether your child has been receiving Books from Birth titles for years or you’re just discovering the program, this celebration is for you.
Let’s honor ten years of stories and the thousands of young readers who bring them to life.
