Come draw/paint the human figure and develop a greater understanding of form, structure, and gesture.
Exploring how to render subjects accurately while using photographic references, each class will be filled with essential drawing and painting techniques. The course consists of assignments, demonstrations, and critiques followed by weekly homework. Bring your own sketchbook – 9 x 12″ and ruler.
Around Town DC is funded by the DC Department of Aging and Community Living (DACL) for older adults (60+) who live in DC, and is run by Iona Senior Services. To register, please log-in or create an account on the Around Town DC website then register for any in-person or virtual fitness, arts, or other programs of interest.
