If you need to earn the IC3-GS6 Level Three Certification, the DC Public Library is pleased to offer Certiport’s Exams from Home Service. This remote testing solution allows you to take the IC3-GS6 Level Three Certification Exam from the convenience of your home or office computer, and it is FREE to you.

IC3-GS6 Level 3 validates an advanced understanding of digital literacy in the seven skill groups (technology basics, digital citizenship, information management, content creation, communication, collaboration, and safety and security). It indicates that the candidate has the technical foundation needed to advance successfully along their educational and employment paths and support the development of more specialized technological skills.

With an established Certiport account and a computer with Windows 10 or 11 or the latest version of MAC OS, an updated Chrome or Safari browser, and an Internet speed of 10Mbps, you can earn this industry-recognized certification from your home or office computer and distinguish yourself as a competent candidate for employment and as a skilled employee in the workplace.

After you register:

• You will receive an initial confirmation email, acknowledging your registration. 
• The confirmation email will be followed by an instructional email on what you can expect in Certiport’s Exams from Home virtual testing environment.
• The day before your scheduled IC3-GS6 Exam, you will receive an email with your link to engage Certiport’s Virtual Machines to take your Exam.
