Prophet Song by Paul Lynch
You're invited to read and discuss Paul Lynch's Prophet Song with the Booker Prize Winners Book Club. Discussions will be led by writer/historian Philip Burnham. This meeting will take place in the Large Meeting Room.
About the discussion host
Philip Burnham holds a B.A. in English Composition from Beloit College, an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst, and a Ph.D. in American Studies from the University of New Mexico. Burnham taught college-level writing, literature, and history at the University of New Mexico, University of Massachusetts (Amherst), Sinte Gleska University, Johns Hopkins University, and, as a Fulbright fellow, at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar. He has done archival research in public and private collections throughout the U.S. and in various other countries. In 2019 he retired as an Associate Professor of composition at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.
