A virtual workshop for entrepreneurs
Join the Library and the Small Business Development Center at Howard University for a special workshop for new entrepreneurs. Starting a business can create excitement and an anxiousness which can lead to starting prematurely. With proper pre-planning, your chances of success increases. It’s one of the top reasons why businesses succeed and thrive in a competitive environment. During the Business Concept & Assessment webinar you will learn the importance of research and how to verify your business idea and the need, test your solution(s), engaging with potential customers, know your competitors, properly identify your financial needs and be aware of the responsibilities of a business owner. This is an invaluable step that will help you prepare a well thought out business plan. Attendees are encouraged to get advisory assistance from a DCSBDC business counselor. This is a recommended prerequisite for other Business Foundation Series sessions, i.e., The Business Model Canvas or The Lean Business Plan. Attendees are encouraged to get advisory assistance from a DCSBDC business counselor to further develop your business concept.
