Join us for a hands on owl pellet dissection and talk with a naturalist! For ages 6-12 ONLY.
Did you know that owls cough up a pellet made of the bones and fur of the animals that they eat? Join us for a hands-on science investigation by dissecting an owl pellet and determining what kinds of animals the owls ate! This activity will be led by a naturalist from the Gulf Branch Nature Center! We will provide owl pellets, gloves, and other supplies. This activity is for children 6-12 and their caregivers. This is not appropriate for younger children. We will meet in the lower level meeting room in the Georgetown Library.
