Come get one on one assistance with your resume and information on different workforce programs that are available to DC Residents at no cost.
This event was created to help patrons with their resumes and to provide information on different workforce programs that are available to D.C. residents for free. During this event I will also be providing information on job fairs that are coming up and patrons are encouraged to attend using the resume that I will assist them with creating. Patrons are to sign up for this event at the Shaw Library Adult Reference desk, located on the second floor of the library. Patrons are also encouraged to print out their resume ahead of time and bring it with them to their appointment. This event will allow for five (5) appointments between 11am and 2pm. This event will take place on Tuesday, April 15th, 2025 at the Shaw Library in the lower level conference room. This event was made to satisfy my Workforce Champions SMART Goal for the year 2025.
