Tuesday is Movie Night in September at the Bellevue Neighborhood Library. Join us for classic films and free fresh popcorn as we spotlight the struggles of America's workers in honor of Labor Day. Here's the lineup:
Sept. 10 A half hour short followed by a full-length feature.
Sept. 17 5:30 The Killing Floor -- This made-for-TV movie about the struggle to build an interracial union in the Chicago stockyards won awards at both the Sundance and Cannes Film Festivals.
Sept. 24 5:30 Fences -- Denzel Washington and Viola Davis deliver unforgettable performances in this beloved film adaptation of August Wilson's Pulitzer Prize-winning play.
