This month we'll be discussing I'll Be Gone in the Dark: One Woman's Obsessive Search for the Golden State Killer by Michelle McNamara. In the national bestseller, true crime journalist McNamara methodically investigates the 1970s cold case which she dubs "the Golden State Killer," a serial rapist and murderer who terrorized Northern California. Tragically, McNamara died before completing her book—did her multidecade research lead to capture?
All genres and readers are welcome. Reading the club selection is not a requirement to attend (just be forewarned that there will be spoilers).
