Stay out late with Tenley-Friendship Library and Art All Night
The Tenley-Friendship Library reflects all ages and stages in our community, ranging from seasoned artists to some of tomorrow's brightest stars. Global dance, music, paintings, drawings - there's truly something for everyone! Art lovers of all ages can also take part in interactive art experiences, including free henna tattoos and dance demonstrations.

- Rock Creek Artists, Still life, landscape and urban watercolor paintings
- Ryan Conlon, Watercolor and gouache paintings exploring the themes of folklore, dreams and traditional patterns
- Steve Gately, Landscape and portrait images depicting travel and urban locations
- Patty Hamsher, Pastel paintings of landscapes and structures
- Grazia Montalto, An ode to Washington, DC using vibrant pen and marker strokes
- Maelle Rosec, A take on the “Creation of Adam” as well as charcoal, watercolor, and acrylic works
- Vivienne Schell, Paintings of the night sky as seen by Vivienne
- Auletta Schwab, Psychedelic paintings of the female body and nature
- Mendel Socolovsky, Plein air watercolor scenes
- Jacki Yamin, Portraiture created with oil, pastel, and watercolor paints
- Paul Zapatka, Drawings and paintings depicting recognizable scenes local to Washington, DC
PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE
7:45-8:45 pm: Bollywood performance and mini class by Taal Academy
8:00-9:00 pm: Meadowlark Music performs for the young and young at heart outside the library
9:00-9:45 pm: Irish dance performance and mini class by District Irish Dance Academy
