Bring back the zine! Zines are handmade booklets. Learn how zines can be made and craft your voice, expertise, poetry, stories, or craftivism. Materials are provided, but feel free to bring your own.
Bring back the zine! Join us in the Alma Thomas Teen Space and let your creativity take over. Zines are handmade booklets of various sizes. They can be made on the computer or crafted by hand. Markers, colored pencils, pictures, writing... anything goes!
Are you an expert on something and want to teach your peers with a nice guide? Do you have a story or poems you want to share? Want to do a little craftivism (crafts + activism)? Maybe you want to make something for you and your friends.
Whatever it is, learn how easily zines can be made and show us what you have to say. Materials are provided, but feel free to bring your own. Zines are kept in the Teen Zine Library; though, you can keep yours and/or you can make copies to leave in our library.
