Come play American, Hong Kong, or Japanese-style mahjong. All levels welcome, including complete beginners! 来玩美式或港式麻将吧!欢迎各个水平的玩家,哪怕是完全的新手也没问题!
NEW: Due to increasing demand, first-time players looking to join the lesson table are required to register for a spot. Registrations are per person and do not include plus ones (for groups, this means each member of a group will need to register individually). Note that due to volume, some players will be active and others will be observers, and will switch off throughout the course of the lesson.

Lessons will begin no later than 6:10pm. Lessons are for folks who have never played before, or have not played for a long time. Newbie players who have done a lesson before are welcome to join regular tables!

Meeting every Tuesday night from 6-8pm. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own sets if they have them! Spots are limited. Lessons for beginners begin promptly at 6pm.
Mahjong is a game of strategy, skill, and a bit of luck. Originating in China, it spread internationally, evolving into different regional styles. We will be hosting both Hong Kong, Japanese, and American-style mahjong tables.
What You’ll Learn:

🀄 The fundamentals of Hong Kong Style, Japanese, or American Style gameplay, tile sets, and scoring.
🀄 Strategies to build winning hands, similar to Gin Rummy.
🀄 A fun, welcoming space to connect with the community and enjoy the game.
All levels are welcome! Whether you're new to mahjong or looking to refine your skills, this open play night offers an engaging way to experience the game in its authentic form or the American style. Our instructor and several players speak both Cantonese and Mandarin. All are welcome to play, regardless of English proficiency.
