Abigail Greensfelder and Lucy McBride discuss women's health issues.
Join Everywoman Studios CEO & documentary producer Abby Greensfelder, who will present an excerpt of her documentary, The Pink Pill: Sex, Drugs & Who Has Control. Winner of the Audience Award at DocNYC in Nov 2025, the film explores the fight to put women’s sexual health on equal footing with men’s in a medical system that has long overlooked the specific needs of women. There will be a conversation about women’s health with DC primary care physician Dr. Lucy McBride following the excerpt of the film.
Greensfelder holds a bachelor’s degree from Yale University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a limited partner at Rethink Impact, a venture firm investing in female-led businesses. A native Washingtonian, she is a keen photographer and a married mother of two girls.
Dr. Lucy McBride is a primary care physician and co-founder of the Ackerly McBride Group in Washington, DC. A graduate of Harvard Medical School and Johns Hopkins, she is the author of Beyond the Prescription: A Doctor's Guide to Taking Charge of Your Health (coming out in August) and the newsletter Are You Okay? She also hosts the podcast Beyond the Prescription. Her writing advocates for an evidence-based, whole-person approach to healthcare and has appeared in The Atlantic, The Washington Post, and USA Today. She lives in DC with her husband and is the proud mother of three grown children.
